Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds Program

Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds nutrition program continues to work with SLI clients by teaching them how to incorporate healthy choices into their everyday life. Recently, Carl and Doug were excited to make a delicious meal of lean pork chops with savory mushroom gravy, fried okra with cherry tomatoes, corn muffins and cantaloupe.
 
Through the program, clients work on cooking skills such as cutting, liquid and dry measurements and how to safely work with the stove and oils. Soon they will be able to make healthy meals for themselves!
