In-kind Donations

An in-kind donation to a 501(c) (3) is giving any other type of asset. In-kind gifts are contributions of goods or services, other than cash. Consider donating to our “Fund A Need” project.

Memorial Gifts

Families and friends of loved ones who have passed away often wish to make a gift in memory of someone special. SLI welcomes these meaningful gifts as a way to honor a loved one. Please be sure to include the name of the person you want to memorialize and the name and address of the person you want us to notify of the gift. You can also make gifts in honor of someone such as your mother for Mother's Day, your child on their birthday, or a friend who volunteers during National Volunteer Appreciation Week.

Corporate Giving

Many national and local corporations offer their employees an opportunity to make a charitable donation through payroll deductions. If your employee offers an independent campaign, ask your program administration how to designate your gift to SLI. Be sure to ask your employer if they have a matching gift fund and ask them to match your gift to SLI. All gifts made to SLI through workplace giving are tax-deductible. Does your employer sponsor community events? Maybe they could become a Festival of Trees sponsor!
